This years event will again be held in conjunction with the Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento, CA. We were blown away by the talent demonstrated in California last year and cant wait to put 50 more trainers to the test! Applications must be postmarked by February 1st. Trainers will be selected and notified shortly after. Selected trainers will pick up their mustang at the Sacramento Horseman's Association Arena, March 13-14, 2009. Norco Extreme Mustang Trail Challenge - May 15-17, 2009: For $10,000 in added money, show that your Mustang can take the Challenge in Horsetown, U.S.A.! Fifty horse trainers will be selected to pick-up a wild Mustang and compete in the Norco Extreme Mustang Trail Challenge. For the first time, Mustangs and trainers will be asked to take the competition through downtown Norco and trails in the foothills to encounter obstacles such as getting the mail and crossing creeks! If you are interested in becoming a trainer, please download and submit the application below. Applications must be postmarked or fax dated by January 1st. Trainers will be selected and notified shortly thereafter. Selected trainers will pick up their Mustang at the Ridgecrest Regional Wild Horse & Burro Corrals in Ridgecrest, CA, on February 13-14, 2009.
